Walking and cycling

The northern pedestrian crossing will be closed at the intersection of Kyytitie and Vanha Porvoontie. The pedestrian crossing on Vanha Porvoon tie north of the construction site, at Kokkokalliontie, will remain in use.

Pedestrians and cyclists will be able to travel alongside the closed construction area between Kokkokalliontie and Kyytitie. Temporary interruptions may occur, as the exact location of all underground utilities will only be discovered once excavation is underway.

Underground concrete duct impacts the work

The Vantaa Light Rail worksite on Kyytitie has had to revise the construction plans for the intersection of Kyytitie and Vanha Porvoontie. The reason is a concrete duct discovered underground, whose demolition requires work time and affects traffic arrangements at the intersection.

New district heating pipelines are planned for construction at the intersection of Kyytitie and Vanha Porvoontie, and the street drainage will be improved. Other municipal infrastructure in the intersection will also be renewed.

We apologise for the inconvenience.
