Preparatory work on the Vantaa Light Rail to begin on Peltolantie and Puutarhatie
The work will start in late September and be completed by the beginning of November. During the preparatory phase, improvements will be made to Puutarhatie between Tikkurilantie and Peltolantie, as well as to Peltolantie between Puutarhatie and Osmankäämintie. They are intended to serve as a replacement route for buses during the construction of the tramway. According to the current plan, work will take place on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Site schedule and traffic arrangements
During the work, Peltolantie will have to be closed to motor vehicle traffic in two parts between Mesikukantie and Osmankäämintie, but access to properties will still be possible. Please check the driving routes on the attached maps. Phase 1 will last for approximately two weeks, followed by phase 2, which will continue for another two weeks.
The construction site will also affect the routes for pedestrian and bicycle traffic, but working routes will always be ensured in accordance with the work phases. On Peltolantie, streetside parking has to be restricted during the work.
