According to current plans, construction of the Vantaa Light Rail will begin on Tikkurilantie on December 1st. Work will take place between Puutarhatie and Kielotie, and this section will be gradually taken out of use for vehicular traffic starting in December and continuing through January.

Preparatory works for the Vantaa light rail will begin on Puutarhatie between Tikkurilantie and Peltolantie, and on Peltolantie between Puutarhatie and Osmankäämintie. The works are scheduled to start at the end of September and be completed by early November
