Work Phase That May Cause Noise Begins on Länsimäentie South of Porvoo Motorway
Preparatory work for the Vantaa Light Rail project began on Länsimäentie in mid-November. After the City Council approved the revised project plan, the works on Länsimäentie moved into the construction phase. The more specific construction area is located near the bridge crossing the Porvoo Motorway, next to the dog park.
In December, drilling work related to wedging will be carried out in the area, which may cause noise. The work will begin on 10 December and is estimated to continue for five working days. Work will take place on weekdays from 7 to 18, but particularly noisy tasks will not be performed continuously during this period.
