At the beginning of February, the construction of a retaining wall started along Kyytitie, next to the Porttipuisto business area. The work began with drilling rock anchors, which causes normal construction noise. The actual retaining wall sheet piling work, which causes especially loud noise and vibration, will begin in week 9 and continue until the end of May 2026. During this period, noisy work will be carried out on approximately 40 weekdays in total, Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

In early March, dismantling and relocation of old technical structures will begin near Heidehof Park on the Santaradantie side. After that, ground improvement works causing especially loud noise, as well as possible sheet piling, will be carried out. The works will begin in week 10 of March and will continue at least until the end of 2026. Especially noisy work will be carried out on approximately 40 weekdays in total, Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

If nearby properties experience particularly disturbing indoor noise, hearing protection can be collected from a mailbox north of Porttipuisto marked with the Vantaa Light Rail logo.

We apologize for the disturbance and thank you for your patience.
